Amazing experiences!

Most people do not like Mondays. It's the end of the weekend, back to work, back to school. The highlights usually being Monday night football. For me, the first Monday of 2015 was amazing. Why? Please, allow me
to enlighten you as to what made my Monday so eventful.

Being an author I find myself attracted to the arts community, and anyone from Denver or has spent a significant amount of time here knows that Santa Fe Dr is considered the arts district. Art galleries and photo studios engulf the atmosphere. Creativity is abundant in the air. It's a place where one can enjoy the sights, sounds and artistic environment.

While taking a walk down Santa Fe Dr, I happened to come across an art gallery/yoga studio named Inspire Life.                                         https://www.facebook.com/inspirelifestudio
Maybe it was the name, maybe it was just the sign on the door, but Something about this place called me. Feeling a bit tense from day to day activities, in need of a bit of peace and tranquility, I strolled in to take a look around. Once inside I was warmly greeted by one of the owners, Anthony Bradley, then introduced to his partner Taraz. Immediately, I felt at home. They embraced me like one of the family.

Inside I found some of the most amazing works of art created by mostly locals.

After being given the grand tour, they invited me for lunch, which was amazing as well.

One of their services is Yoga instruction. Over the years I've toyed with Yoga. Watched a few videos, read a few books, did a few stretches but never really got deep into it. Luckily, I was given a real treat; aerial yoga training. When watching videos on YouTube or seeing this technique done it looks easy, well trust me, it is not. It is, however, fun, uplifting, and good exercise. The basics were hard at first, but I started to get the swing of it. (No Pun intended).

Time flew as i was there and by 3 pm it began to feel like it was time to go. To my surprise, Anthony invited me to a potluck and movie later that evening. Again, a wonderful experience. Everyone brought a delightful dish, we watched some great film and enjoyed some Taraz Teas.

For anyone looking for a place to learn Yoga, meditation, I highly recommend Inspire Life Studio. Should you just want to heighten your skills, again this is a highly recommended place. Good music, good company and understanding make this one of my new favorite local establishments.

Please give their page a like on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/inspirelifestudio or stop in and visit: 938 W 8th Ave, Denver, Colorado 80204
